On today's Live Drive, I'll be looking at an old age survey. I also came across a news story this weekend where the editor of a magazine called Online Dating says more and more, they're finding seniors looking for their soulmates online. Guess they're seeing their sons and daughters have success with it, so....why not?? You only live once, right?

So how long do YOU want to live? Personally, I hope to die in my sleep...not screaming in panic like the people in the car with me. Your thoughts?

To the Moon, Alice! Or Not?

40 years ago today, Ohio's own Neil Armstrong took a little walk outside that was watched by millions.

Did you know the onboard computer on Apollo 11 had less power than an iPhone???!!??!! Amazing.

So should we be trying to get back to the moon again? There's been talk about building a base up there.....what do you think?

I don't mind us venturing outward and upward. We've innovated some great stuff via these trips. However, space seems a lot like Montana. It's probably a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't wanna live there. Not sure if I'm down with us taking up permanent residence on other globes up there.

but again...what do you thinki?

How Did Your Guy....or You....Propose?

I confess my proposal to Stacy was lame. I had been holding the ring for months, and was going to propose at the Montgomery Inn boathouse. Romantic setting, it was her birthday, it was just gonna be sweet.

She went shopping for something to wear, and came back ten different shades of frustrated and pissed, and said "let's just go to dinner tomorrow night."

I'm sorry....I could not hide the ring in our apartment for another night. She'd find it, I knew she would. Plus I was tired of hiding the damn thing.

So I got on one knee in front of the couch and proposed. Oh well..we'll always have at least one fond memory of this apartment. :-)

Okay...that's my story...now what's yours?

Do You Use Rest Stops When you Travel?

I confess that I pay them no mind whatsoever. I'm a go before ya go kinda guy, so potty breaks generally aren't necessary. However, an article at MSN.com about rest stops got my attention. A lot of states are closing some of them to save money, and the article showed how some states use them to promote themselves to travelers. Fair enough.

Then...in the comments section of the article....someone wrote "When my family and I travel I always look forward to seeing what the next rest stop will be like just to see how different each state is in terms of architecture and the plants growing. And talk about contributing to consumerism society by replacing the rest stops surrounded by trees, with rest stops feeding into the fast pace lives we live when this is for many people a time to get away from all of fast pace living. Really aggravating."

Maybe I'm missing something. Do you visit rest stops when ya travel? Notice any differences between states? Got any favorites?

Exercise More by Taking a Nice Long Wii

There's a new game for Wii coming soon called Walk It Out. In it, you'll...well....you'll walk. It has a soundtrack of about a hundred songs, and it's designed to simulate walking outside.

I confess...I don't get it. I mean, unless you live in Seattle where it's raining all the time. Maybe then. Otherwise...why not just walk outside???

I'm not a gamer though, so I'll ask you folks..

Have you, or has someone you know, ever lost weight or gotten in shape by playing a Wii Fit game?

Wallets With Baby Pictures Returned More

Researchers in Scotland found out that if a wallet has a baby picture in it, most folks will return it. If it has a card indicating a donation to charity, most folks won't.

Have you ever lost your wallet or purse? How did it end up? Did you give the finder a reward?

I lost mine once...while living in Colorado.....when I got it back, my drivers license was gone. I had to take the driving test again, with some little old lady in a small town on the Colorado/Kansas border. I went the speed limit but she thought I drove too much like someone from the city. What-EV-er, Grandma...I passed the test.

So...how did it go for you?
